We have two different space interpretations, one for relativity, and one for quantum theory. The two approaches are different down to the basics. We know neither theory can describe our world completely; both have their own realms where they are valid.

According to the relativity theory, space is a four-dimensional continuous space-time entity. Energy creates a distortion of space-time, what we experience as gravity. According to the quantum theory, space is a quantified foam-like structure where wave-like particles spontaneously pop up and vanish unless they have enough energy to exist.

These two space visions are not even close; practically they close out each other. However, both describe our world successfully in its realms. But we have only one world. The two theories are two different approximations of a theory. It is called quantum relativity, which may describe our world at a higher level. To reconcile relativity theory and quantum theory means the reconciliation of the two types of space in these theories.

The grid theory may provide a reconciled space model, and seeing it from different viewpoints may approximate the relativity and quantum theory as well.

According to the grid model (a kind of Aether model), space manifested as a solid structure built by Planck size particles, which are vibrating at its place on high frequency in several directions of freedom. The grid model is discussed in several thoughts (see the label: Grid model).

In the grid model, the space of the relativity theory manifested as a three-dimensional grid structure. The fourth, the time dimension represented in a special way in the grid model (as the time is represented in a special way in the relativity theory, where the time is not a space-like dimension, but it can be handled similarly as a space dimension). The time is represented as a particular extension in the grid model, as a delay making the synchronized vibrations of the grid particles; its waves create a loop, a closed cycle. These wave loops are the fermions (see the label: Time). As the synchronized waves travel on the grid-field, the waves create distortion on the grid structure. The distortion is related to the energy that the waves are representing. The distortion of the grid-field is what we experience as gravity.

In the grid model, the space of the quantum theory manifested as a three-dimensional grid structure with grid particles vibrating on extremely high frequency, randomly, on several directions of freedom. Spontaneous synchronized vibration can occur between the grid particles on this structure creating the foam-like behavior.

Particles as synchronized vibrations of the grid particles form on this space by extra energy. These synchronized vibrations create wave packets. The wave packets travel on the grid field (on the space) with speed determined by the coupling parameter of the grid particles. The coupling parameter describes the transfer speed of the interaction between neighboring grid particles. If the wave packets create loops, self-closed waveforms, then these loops only can travel less speed than the coupling parameter determined, even the wave travels on the loop with speed determined by the coupling parameter (see the label: Particle).

The grid model may provide a reconciliation of the two most important theories and may provide a model for the quantum gravity theory.
