What is religion? Religion is a system of thought, which is built on postulates, i.e. based on statements, whose statements are not a provable or verifiable reality of our world, but merely accepted as truth.

Religion is a subjective value system of the community it belongs to, on which individual and community customs are formed, institutions are built, on which the subjective laws of the community can be established, and on which social legislation can be constructed. Religion is a motivating force that can be used to govern the community, a suitable method of governing society.

Religion, as defined above, cannot be based on theism alone. A system of thought founded on the existence of God constitutes a religion, just as, for example, a system of thought founded on the supremacy of human life, humanism, constitutes a religion. The most system of ideas called ...ism constitutes a religion because they are not based on the validity of objective reality, but on hypothetical, subjective truths.

We know our world, the laws of reality, more and more. What is the system of rules that does not result from the laws of nature, not from physical reality, but which humans, humanity, in the possession of their ultimate knowledge of nature, accept as truth? What is the truth that the growth of scientific knowledge and the development of human society cannot objectively prove or disprove, or does not wish to modify? What is it that ultimately remains a subjective truth as knowledge and human society evolve? What is the ultimate religion of humanity?

We may have already discovered this ultimate truth, which does not arise from any natural law. Perhaps we have already arrived at this ultimate religion. Perhaps some existing religion is the ultimate truth. Perhaps the common truth of all existing religions is the ultimate religion. And a big question is, will the belief in the existence of God that is above nature remain part of the ultimate religion?

If we will find the ultimate religion, perhaps it is the truth, which is also the religion of an alien intelligence. Perhaps it is the truth that, if found, will eventually shape human society into a galactic civilization. That is why the search for the ultimate form of religion is so intriguing.
