We are waiting for the time to be contacted by alien civilizations. We are actively seeking their presence somewhere in the neighborhood. We think, if they exist, we can find them, or they will find us. We believe we are ready to be contacted.
And what would an alien civilization find at us? Who are we? We are a civilization with intelligent members which
- take advantage of and abuse the fellow members
- take advantage of and abuse the environment
- create and improve organizations and tools to oppress, rule, and kill others
- select leaders who are incapable and incompetent in leading
- keep the selfish, oppressive leaders in power, and reselect them
- consume more what need, consume more what have
- hate and generate hates against others who are different
And we are waiting to be contacted. And just waiting and waiting and waiting...
Yes, we are undoubtedly intelligent and conscious species, we are the crown of the Big Bang. Yet, we are not ready to be a member of higher society. We are dangerous for ourselves and for others. We have the potential, but we are not in the state to live together. If we ever will. Until that, we have the show.
