The smart green house by home automation (SGH by HAT) challenge:

Build a house which
- has utility connection only to the water and the sewage
- comfortable
- can be built and maintained cheaper compared to a regular, non-SGH house with same living space and comfort
- requires low or no maintenance
- environmental hazard proof
- the plan should be reusable in the same climatic environment

For this house, all the necessary energy created locally. To be cheap, the fewest energy conversion needed, and the energy stored in the form of how it is created. The generated electricity is stored in batteries and used for electronic appliances as much as possible, not for energy conversion, so the house should not have air condition. The created heat energy (warm or cold) is stored as heat energy and used for heating or cooling. For electricity, DC is used instead of AC to avoid conversation costs and losses.

As much water is reused as possible. All the irrigation made by reused water.

The house must be protected from environmental hazards. If the area is an earthquake zone, then it must be earthquake-proof, if hurricane zone, then hurricane-proof, if tornado zone, then tornado-proof, etc.
The house must be as simple as possible, the function is the form.

With all of these requirements, the house still needs to be comfortable and cozy in the limit of acceptance. The house needs to do its job automatically, even adapting to the changing environments to keep the living zone in the required range of comfort utilizing home automation.

The house plan must be different in different environments and climate, no fit for all blueprints, but the methods and concepts can be reused.

Can this type of house be built? In what environment and climate? This is the challenge.
