We, the members of the human species, almost all experience God's presence sometime in our lifetime. Most of us believe in some kind of God. Why? Why do we need a supernatural? Why do we have the desire for Him?

The standard explanation is that we need the supernatural to explain what we do not know. We described lightning, fire, and many other things as the act of the supernatural because our actual ignorance. As our knowledge grows, the need for the supernatural becomes more and more marginal. We believe that what we still do not know is still explainable without the supernatural as our historical, scientific experience suggests. Significantly less and less based on the unexplained things around us, but still, many of us believe in some kind of God.

So why many of us do believe in God? To explain the nature of what we still do not know about, is it the answer? Otherwise, we would not need God if everything could be explainable without Him.

This looks simple but too risky an explanation. Because as we know more and more about nature, God's necessary presence becomes less and less. Why many of us still think God exists if we need less and less of Him?

If He exists, then He would foresee this. He would plant his existence cleverly inside us. If God actually exists, and he created us, he would plant our desire for him inside in us in a clever way. How?

Basically, why we see God's existence? Because we can't explain everything without him. But why do we want to explain things at all? Because we search for reasons and causes. We humans are very unique in this. No animals search for reasons and causes. This is very human. But as the animal kingdom shows us, successful existence does not need explanations. Why do we have this property?

It is our strong motivation to understand the world. It is the main motivation to know what and why something exists. And this motivation does not lessen but even grows in time. And if God exists, this is the only motivation to search for Him, and to know about Him. And if He created humankind, then of course He would plant this in us. As he said: If you search for me, you can find me.

And God was born.
