How can we build a machine with a directional mechanism, which is able to accommodate oneself to the changing environment and able to carry out directional tasks by stand-alone? How we can develop a directional mechanism which can manage processes without human direction in the case that the controlled system is under the unexpected changes in the environment? I call a directional unit with this kind of functionality: Universal (general purpose), Autonomous, Adaptive – UAA-system.

What are the attributes which an UAA-system has to bear?

It has to be adaptive. The system needs to adapt to the changing environment. It has to be able to develop working steps to maintain its own inner environment to sustain the necessary working conditions.
It has to be autonomous. It has to be able to reach its own goals by itself. Its existence is self-maintaining in the changing environment.

In a UAA-system, the working rules should be born under the work process because it is not possible to condition the system for the unknown changes in the environment. It should be enough to give only some basic rules and some basic work principles for the successful existence. The system has to find and learn the work principles by itself for its successful existence; an UAA-system has to be a learning system. If more time has been spent in the environment, the UAA-system becomes more successful and capable.
